Strains resistant to chloramphenicol (C), colistin (COL), streptomycin (S), sulfonamids (SSS) and trimethoprim/sulfamethoxazole (TSU)
Patient aged at least 5 years presented with severe dehydration or died from acute watery diarrhea; in areas where cases had been declared, cholera was suspected if a patient of at least 5 years had acute watery diarrhea with/without vomiting.
