In 2007, 25/25 specimens tested were Inaba. In 2008, 2/2 specimens tested were Inaba. In 2009, 28/33 specimens tested were Inaba, 5/33 were Ogawa. In 2009, 18/20 specimens tested were Inaba, 2/20 were Ogawa, Overall, of 82 specimens testing positive, 73 were Inaba, 7 ogawa.
A patient aged 2 years or more develops acute watery diarrhoea, with or without vomiting.
A suspected case with Vibrio cholerae O1 or O139 confirmed by culture or PCR.
